Celebrate the Fourth of July with the music of an American icon. The world’s No. 1 Bruce Springsteen tribute band, Bruce in the USA, is going to rock RiverEdge Park with its note-perfect, visually spot-on performance that started in Vegas and has traveled the nation. Bring the entire family to rock out to this free concert along the beautiful Fox River that ends in the City of Aurora’s spectacular fireworks display. There will be food trucks and vendors on-site, and cold beverages will be available for purchase, including adult drinks at our bars, all making for the best July 4th Celebration in the Fox Valley. Experience it all at RiverEdge Park.

LOCATION

RiverEdge Park is located at 360 N Broadway, Aurora IL 60506. Please keep reading for important information regarding Fourth of July at RiverEdge Park.

Parking

The Aurora Train Station Commuter Lot will be opening for parking. However, the parking space capacity will be reduced to make room for the new viewing area located in the ATC Lot. Please click here for 4th of July Fireworks Shuttle Routes (PDF)

Grills and alcohol are NOT allowed in any part of RiverEdge Park. Also, pets (except for service dogs), in-line skates, roller skates, skateboards, pocketknives/weapons of any kind are a not allowed, and Conceal and Carry is not permitted in the Park. RiverEdge is a smoke-free facility, which includes no vaping.

Food & Drink

Coolers, food, water and soft drinks are welcome, but NO ALCOHOL is allowed in the park. Food and drink vendors will be open during the concerts. RiverEdge Park bars will be open. Please bring a valid form of ID for alcohol purchase.

FOOD VENDORS

In addition to the main food vendor Genoa Italian Concessions, additional food vendors will be serving on-site and will be listed on this page closer to the event. Please note: food vendors are subject to change.

Section Closed

The south end of RiverEdge Park is fenced off and closed due to construction. This means you cannot walk down the bike path from New York to RiverEdge Park. It also means no one can sit in the south third of the park. Please leave yourself plenty of extra time to find a location to sit. Large crowds are expected.

Seats

This year, 4,000 permanent seats have been installed in the park. This means the cement area from the front of the stage just past the sound tower is taken up by seats. There is no room for bag chairs in this area. These seats are open to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis. Please consider leaving your bag chairs at home and using the seats instead.

Look for the Balloon

The City will be flying a helium balloon in the general vicinity of where the fireworks will burst into the air. The balloon will be airborne above the river near McCullough Park on Illinois. If you cannot see the balloon from where you are sitting, you will not be able to see the fireworks, so please plan accordingly.
