WANTED: Accounting Associate

Position: RiverEdge Park Accounting Associate (Seasonal)

Organization: Aurora Civic Center Authority

Reporting: This position reports to the RiverEdge Park Accounting Manager.

Start Date: Orientations held on May 14, 15 and 16. Each employee is required to attend one orientation date.


  • Pre-count banks for beverage servers 
  • Complete park set-up procedures 
  • Maintain accurate controls per internal ACCA accounting policy
  • Track and be accountable for inventory and cash
  • Maintain accurate and consistent cash procedures
  • Be responsible for end of night procedures​
  • Handle stressful situations rationally, calmly and tactfully
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Evening and weekend availability
  • Previous banking or retail experience preferred
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience a plus
  • Cash handling experience required
  • Lift over 25 pounds 
  • Ability to stand/walk outdoors for several hours at a time
  • Superior communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Must be punctual, honest, trustworthy and dependable
  • Detail-oriented
  • Team player and the ability to work independently
  • Minimum 21 years of age


Position is part-time, seasonal and hourly. Weekend availability is a must. Hours are event dependent – typically 4-5 hours per event; 12-15 events per summer.
