Position: RiverEdge Park Summer Crew (Seasonal)                       

Organization: Aurora Civic Center Authority

Reporting: This position reports to the Front of House Operations Director.

Start Date: Orientations TBA. Each employee is required to attend one orientation date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                  

  • Set-up and take-down of folding chairs, tables, perimeter fencing, barricades, ADA platforms, aluminum benching, tents, stanchions, bar equipment and other miscellaneous items
  • Set-up, label and take-down of specific RiverEdge Park seating charts
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and adhere to the Paramount Theatre and RiverEdge Park Guidelines and Regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physically strong and able to move large cumbersome objects
  • Be on feet for long periods of time in an outdoor setting
  • Adhere to specific equipment instructions, placement and presentation
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Available for early morning and late night hours, including weekends
  • Be aware and helpful to all other departments as needed
  • Lift up to 100 lbs
  • Must be 16 years of age or older

HOURS

Position is part-time, seasonal and hourly. Weekend availability is a must. Hours are event dependent – typically 4-5 hours per event; 12-15 events per summer.
